Bulldog Stadium has been the home of the Fresno State football team since it first opened in 1980 . Entering its 35th full season hosting the football team in 2015, the 41,031-seat facility has established itself as one of the most difficult places to play for visiting teams.
Fresno State has found great success in its home facility, owning a record of 165-47-2 that is good for a winning percentage over 77 percent. Over the last 17 seasons, the Dogs have posted a 81-24 (.771) record at Bulldog Stadium and included in that stretch was a 17-game home winning streak from 1998-01.
Fresno State is also 17-2 at home in three seasons under head coach Tim DeRuyter, which included winning the inaugural Mountain West championship game on Dec. 7, 2013 over Utah State.
