Rio Grande Valley FC at Fresno FC Will take place at the cities most notable ballpark in Fresno. Chukchansi Park, the park is famous throughout the league for the views the stadium affords, you get the stunning view of Downtown Fresno whilst also being set against the backdrop of the Sierra Mountains. Fresno Football Club, the Central Valley’s first professional soccer club, is a member of the United Soccer League (USL). The club opens its inaugural season in March 2018 and will host home matches at Chukchansi Park in beautiful downtown Fresno. FFC exists to provide a top-class, inclusive and dynamic sporting experience in one of the nation’s most diverse regions.
Fresno Art Hop Art Hop occurs every 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. It is one of the most active and successful program organized by the Fresno Arts Council. Art lovers and enthusiasts from all walks of life flock Downtown Fresno and Tower District on the first Thursday of each month, and the rest of Art Hop venues in the Fresno metro areas on third Thursdays, to meet and greet with the artists and enjoy the reception and music. Museums, studios, galleries and other venues open their exhibitions to the public at 5:00 p.m. and run the free event until 9:00 p.m. ArtHop has received a remarkable response from the Fresno community. Over 60 participating artist studios, galleries, museums, and other venues exhibit art and artists reception during Fresno ArtHop, and it has become both a cultural and special event for the community with a great deal of media coverage.
California Wine Month Celebration September is California Wine Month and is the perfect time to experience California wine regions and the annual harvest, with events and celebrations happening throughout the state! California Wine Month celebrates the state’s winegrowing history and the contributions of its vintners and growers to the lifestyle and economy of the Golden State. The Madera Wine Trail will host its 12th annual “California Wine Month Celebration” on September 20 at San Joaquin River Parkway Conservation & Trust from 6:00-9:00 p.m. honoring California Wine Month. Local wineries, restaurants and food producers will join together to pour wines complemented by the area’s most delicious and diverse foods. Wineries and vintners will be available to discuss the wines and techniques used in local winegrowing and winemaking. Live music by Blue Skies Trio with jazz vocalist Sunny Wright from the Central Coast – inspired by the classic piano-bass-drum trios and small jazz combos from the 40’s to the present day! Valley DevFest 2019 Join the biggest tech conference in the Central Valley! GDG Fresno and GDG Visalia are teaming up to bring you Valley DevFest 2019 Make It Here. This year’s event will include a diverse number of tracks on Front End Development, Back End Development, Hardware, Design and a Makerspace by Root Access. 59 Days Of Code and Code For Fresno will host a mini hackathon during the conference and also in this year’s conference one word Robotics!
